NCDC driver tests positive for COVID-19 in Nasarawa
An additional case of Covid-19 has been announced in Nasarawa, the State Government disclosed.
This was made known by the state Governor Abdullahi Sule while briefing journalists on COVID-19 updates in the state on Tuesday.
He explained that the new case is a driver of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), who transports samples of persons believed to have been infected with COVID-19 in the state.
“The affected driver who lives in Ado village of Karu Local Government Area of the state has been relocated to COVID-19 Isolation Centre at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi for treatment,” the governor added.
No fewer than 12 cases of Coronavirus has been confirmed in the state with one death recorded.
